BAAN FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT / Project Manager

Qualifications:

Two years of experience in BaaN

Two additional years of experience as a functional ERP consultant, improving productivity in manufacturing.

Another four years of industrial engineering/ERP experience (for a total of eight years of experience in ERP).  

Cross-module experience includes integration of Distribution with Finance, integration of Sales with Finance, integration of Service with Finance, and integration of Shopfloor with Finance.  

Implementation of Service module.

Has performed GAP analyses of the requirements in two projects.  Performed a comparative study of BaaN IVb and Oracle Applications.

Experience with cross-company relationships, multi-company and multi-site relationships, as well as Buy/Sell relationships.

Experience as a functional lead in two BaaN implementation projects.

 Job Responsibilities: 
 As a functional consultant 
� Implementation of BaaN Distribution 4.1a module.
� Training of the users in their respective sessions / modules
 As a project manager 
� Coordination with the customer's team and the implementation team
� Mapping of data from the Legacy system to BaaN
� Identification of customizations like landed cost, letter of credit etc.
� Coordination with the tools consultant for the customizations done and testing of the session created by them.  
� Coordination with the BaaN company for support and related activities.
� Project monitoring and reporting to the steering committee about the progress made on a regular basis.
 
This consultant is available for contract consulting throughout the U.S. and Canada, but is not available for permanent hire.
We have BaaN technical consultants to form a complete implementation or customization team.
