Job Description:

You need to have extensive database administration 
experience on DB2 UDB EEE on AIX. Need to have experience 
with AIX-UNIX at command line level. Experience in database 
design and implementation, database performance tuning, 
utilities, and backup and recovery. Knowledge of Data 
Warehouse applications a plus. The environment is 
production support of DB2 UDB EEE Database (multi-terabyte) 
running ona RS6000 SP and AIX-UNIX. Supporting 12 
applications, both existing and new applications. You will 
consult with application developers anddesign DBAs, tune 
SQL, implement DB2 UDB objects into production and advises 
on technical issues in a data warehouse environment. Some 
AIX-UNIX system admin required. Will share second level 
production support responsibilities on a rotating 24 x 7
