Job Description:

Duration: 3-6 Months 

- The C++ programmer needs be able to understand complex 
business logic. 
- Update.pl is a complicated program that plays a central 
role in the data gathering process. It selects the agents, 
fires them, collects their return codes and updates the 
databases. It can also run in client/server mode. In the 
latter case it runs as a server that gets requests to 
select/fire agents. The C++ programmer should be 
experienced in Object Oriented programming and be aware of 
things like performance and memory impact of certain design 
decisions. 

Qualifications:

Required Skills: 
- C++ Programming 

Desired Skills: 
- Knowledge of Perl (to read existing code) 
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and sockets 
- Knowledge of CORBA 
- Ability to design/implement complicated applications 
- Familiarity with databases and query languages 
- Familiarity with UNIX
