problem with Z specification

Please excuse me if this posting is in the wrong group.


I have the following problems. I wonder if anyone can help me solve then:

1) Considder the following SQL statement. How would you specify this 
query in a formal Z statement?

SELECT d.name, COUNT(*) FROM mytable d GROUP BY d.name


2) How can I express joins in a formal Z statement?
