Hello, I am the developer and owner of Painless Accounting, Inc. and, I am currently looking for a buyer for this company. Our current version is written in Foxpro2.6 for Windows and DOS, and includes a full featured accounting system with Billing, Estimates, A/R, A/R, Inventory, Ledger, GST, VAT and much more. It also includes a full featured payroll system that contains support for all 50 states and Canada. We also have a version 5.6 of both products written in Clipper'87. This system has been distributed through shareware, and more recently retail channels. Since 1990 this system has generated revenue of over $300,000. With very little marketing on our part. So why do I want to sell the company? Over the past two years we have had some bad luck with distributors and marketers, etc. And currently I am not in a position to take the product forward. I have expanding work and family commitments. I am looking to sell the company including source code, user base, and all future orders/inquires for only $40,000 (neg.) This company is a great opportunity for someone wanting to start a business, expand their current business(user base), or get into the lucrative software market. If you would like to take a look at the product, you can download it at our web site at: www.computek.net/public/kpierce This web site also contacts clippings from advertisements, product reviews, and customer letters. You can also reach me directly via email at: kpierce@computek.net or CIS: 70337,3337 thanks, Kendall B. Pierce
