Hi, I hope someone can help me with this problem. I just got a laptop and am trying to get the pcmcia 14.4 modem to work, without much success. When I connect the modem, my telephone line goes dead, and when I call in using dial-up I get an error message that there is no dial-tone, and is the modem connected right? Using the same line connected to my external modem everything is fine. Any ideas, or is this a typical Dutch telephone problem?
