	You probably do not have the right *.inf file. Please go to
http://www.usr.com and download mdmusrsp.inf if your modem is an
sportster fax/voice pnp. If it is a vi, chose the correspondent vi inf
file. Copy the file to your c:\windows\inf, go to MODEMS in your control
panel and remove any installed modem, then redetect your modem. (If you
have removed all the jumpers on the card, it will be working as plug and
play; so it is recommended that you restart windows and let it perform
the self-detection. If you left the jumpers in the defaut setting
(com2/irq3), chose MODEM in ADD NEW HARDWARE at the control panel and
make it detect your modem).
