I'm interested in flight sims, but don't have any free time. An interesting program, from a codeing point of view is RC-Flyer (should be in hensa or some other archive) . Its a radio controlled plane sim. Rather than using the normal moving horizon flight sim model, it draws a plane from your perspective as a controler on the ground, where you fly the plane, your view goes, keeping the plane in the middle at all times, but if the plane goes far away, it gets smaller. The code had a few bugs in it when i looked and needed a few modification to work properly, but there is loads of code thats really useful for doing things in 3D space.
