I've often wondered about a similar facility.

Years ago there was an Oz shareware program called Two Disks (which I
actually thought useful enough to pay for :) which was designed to
compare files on two floppy drives. (I did say it was years ago. :-)
Admittedly, you could fool it into handling *one* HDD directory as a
"drive" by specifying 'C:' for the default directory, but that was
about as complex as it got.

It had a really useful display and options for managing the files in
the two displayed drives. IIRC, it was something like:

Files on A not on B
Files on B not on A
Identical files on A & B
.. [memory starts to fail about here %-) ]

It was then a simple matter of selecting files in one list and giving
a command to COPY/MOVE to the other "drive", or just DELETE from A/B.

I've often wished for a similar simple utility for modern systems.
Any suggestions?

Cheers, Phred.
