pages with frame usually contain timewasting graphics and adverts, the
screen get cluttered with scrollbars and boarder dividers, you have to
go throught many layers of source code before you can track down to the
exact URL location of a page which if informative you can tell other
without wasting their time, similarly if you want to bookmark a decent
page you want to refer to without having to remeber going through the
same routine, and wasting paper whenever you print the wrong fripping
frame as you are bound to

i think the idea of frames comes from the spreedsheet feature which
allows the user to hold an area of data while panning the sheet.
