Help to compare documents

I often merge 3 - 4 similar plain text documents into one and need to
eliminate any duplicate text. Is there a way to compare all 3 or 4
documents for duplicate text at the same time? The solution must be cheap.

The U*ix utility "diff3" can compare (and merge) three files. I've never
used it myself, I just know of its existence.

If you're using some flavor of Windows, there are free Windows ports of
it and other U*ix utilites available.

http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/

and other places.

Can you please validate this rather strong response? It certainly left
us in no doubt as to your regards for the Singaporean.

He is that. Education is the key.

I'm doing my own little bit to educate him out of that, but thus far in
vain.

He quit doing that a couple of weeks back, mate.
