Amazing... it was 100% stable for hours of benchmarking and hard 3d
use... until... yes I had to f!@# with it and put the multiplier up to
11X (from the default 10.5x). AHHHH they symptoms came back.. even
after I put the multiplier back to the default, reflashed the bios and
reset all bios options the same..... So over night I hammered it with
all the SiSandra burn in bmarks.. 200 times. Woke up and it was 100%
good. Ok closed all apps and system resources were down to 89%.
Tried Quake III demo 1... went through fine. Wow yesterday after the
overclocking fiasco it woul crash right away! So I tried demo 2 and
about half way through got an illegal op from quake3.exe with
"uknown". I had to leave for work but maybe after a fresh reboot it
will be ok. Still though I set SiSandra to hammer it another 200
times without rebooting! When I get home I will reboot and try.
Weird though.
Anyone have any explanations? Yes if I get it back stable I won't
oclock it or mess with it again.... I wish I would have left it
alone.......
