Hey all! I'm just about to format my machine and do a clean Windows 2000 Pro installation and need some help with the proper driver, patch, fix, update order... My hardware consists of the following... - Gigabyte GA7ZM mainboard with a VIA chipset - AMD Duron 600 CPU - 256 Meg ram - 20 Gig 7200RPM Maxtor HD - SB Live! 5.1 OEM soundcard - Asus V7100 GeForce 2MX video card (32meg AGP) - Realtek 8139 based 10/100 PCI network card - Acer 640BU USB scanner - HP8100 IDE CDRW drive What order should I install the hardware drivers, VIA 4in1, Windows service packs, Windows Update security (and other) updates, MS AGP fix, etc. Also, is there anything I should avoid (SB Liveware 3.0 software? etc.) Any suggestions are appreciated!
