Hi

I have this portable MP3 CD-Player, a very basic one with no special
features or visual indication.
It just shows the number of the current song and time, that's all.

I'd like to transfer this unit into a normal standalone CD-Player to replace
it and give it the ability to play MP3 files.

Is this possible (it probably is) ?
What do I replace ? The laser and the electronic plate in the player or just
the plate without the laser ?
Is there somewhere I could find instructions on how to do this, or can
somebody tell me ?

Thnx TP.

Either the CD player can play MP3's or it can't. It's a software issue not a
hardware issue, so the laser has nothing to do with it. Some standalone
CD players play MP3's just as some DVD players do. All computer cd players
do with WMP.

So the answer is, NOT possible.
