Hi,

Just downloaded/installed the NVidia Detonator drivers (for my Viper 550 and
boy, what a difference!
I was previously running the latest version of the Diamond drivers, but
someone told me that the Detonator drivers were the nuts.
3DMark99 now scores at 1996.29, well over the previous score of 1898.89 when
the Diamond drivers were installed.
Here's the results (I've changed NOTHING apart from the drivers):

Sandra rates my cpu as 1076cpu and 418 fpu...
3DMark99 rates my cpu at 375mhz, but Sandra sees it as 381, so does WinTune
98 - I've o/ced from 350 to 380 using 4x95. This means that my agp bus speed
is only 63mhz, so I've used a neat little app called MaxClock that allows
you
to set the memory/clock speed on the video card (I've pushed the chip clock
from 90 to 110mhz and the memory to 120). This has boosted the performance
of the card, and I'm running CPUIdle to keep everything cool...
