I have a gut feeling one of my HDD is going to fail soon. Does anyone know
a good utility to check this hunch?

Hey - thanx for hints

Yep, I'm avoiding using the drive and trying to keep as much data as
possible on my new 15 G.B drive.

B.T.W. Drive is Quantum Fireball 6.4 G.B

the best way to tell if the HDD is going to fail is if you are getting alot of
frequent bad sector errors...say over 3 a month...the more frequent it gets,
the closeryou are to a meltdown.
HEh, and if you hear all kinds of grinding...thats a definate sign the end is
nigh :))
