This is an integrated chipset. Most likely an i810 based motherboard. There
is no LEGACY, i.e. it is not SoundBlaster games HW compatible. May be
through DOS box, i.e. A window open through Windows that looks like DOS
prompt.

Do you really need it? Is your SW/game so old that has to be HW compatible?
Windows98 actually brought some SoundBlaster virtualization to support such
scenarios.

If you bought this as a system from a known brand, most likely Windows98 not
the BIOS assigns address.
If you have a "retail" M/B like an ASUS, Abit, etc., go into Award BIOS menu
by pressing Del during boot time. See if PnP OS is Yes or NO. If no, BIOS
assigns any need for IRQ, base address etc.

Craig Hart has a great utility at http://members.hyperlink.net.au/~chart/
Run it in DOS to see what address, IRQ has been assigned to 801AA (Intel
ICH0) that integrates a baseline 16 bit stereo AC-link controller.
