hi... i built a pc using one of these boards recently and had more than
enough getting it to work...

Firstly, the jumpers that set the ram/cpu bus speeds were *not* in the
default positions and infact were setup such that the thing would not post
on powerup - the no beep, no video thing. After taking a couple hours to
figure that one out I finally go to install windoze and find that the
computer totally crashes in about 5 minutes of powerup giving various sorts
of error messages and then shutting down. I finally end up pluggin in an AGP
video card and switching the bios from onboard video to the agp slot...
everything worked fine from there on in.

This is the first time I've had probs with ASUS boards... anyone found
anything similar with this one???

cheers,
evilfieldz
