My choice for a recent build was to get a full tower; this way you can
leave plenty of space for air to circulate.( e.g. I fit drives in
alternate bays so there is an air gap between them, and hard drives
mounted as far back as possible so that air can circulate round the
front as well.)
Probably a good idea to get to a large fair so you can actually see
them. I think mine cost about �50 ('anonymous' make) with a 300W PSU.
Get a big'un :)
