One suggestion for a 'medium sized' case, that meets the requirements, and
is very well made, is the 'Chieftec DA01 BWD' design.
I only came across these recently, taking one on the advice of a friend,
and was pleasantly suprised. These are available from a couple of
suppliers in the UK. All edges are rolled. The 3.5" drive bays 'unclip'
(with a proper 'locking' lever, rather than just a 'sprung' clip), and the
5.25" bays have rails. The 'standard' supply (depending on who you buy
from), is a 340W unit. The 'B' version is in a darker brown (rather than
the beige) colour. That version (they do others in different heights), has
4*5.25 bays, and 2* 3.5" bays externally accessible, with a front 'door',
then another 4*3.5" bays internally. It has locations for two front fans
(one for the bottom three 3.5" drives), which just 'clip in', and some
suppliers will fit these for you. Then two more fans at the rear. Using
slow, and reasonably quiet fans, the whole unit is pleasantly quiet (the
solid construction helps).
Best Wishes
