Hi guys, I found this page and it helped me a lot... including the tips you
all gave me.

http://home.directlink.net/~timmy/M571/M571.htm

The problem with my motherboard was that the SDRAM was jumpered for 5 Volt
instead of 3.3 Volt and the jumpers for the processor were jumpered for P54C
(single voltage) and not P55C (dual voltage) as it should be.
The board is now running fine and I have no lockups that could be to
annoying.
I am finetuning it now for better performance and stability so my kids can
play the games they want to.

The mainboard is a Pc-Chips M571 and the processor is a Cyrix 6x86MX wit 64
Mb memory.

I myself am using a P3 450 MHZ on an Abit BX6r2 mainboard and 256 MB memory.
