You should be able to mix and match sizes, any size up to 128MB per
slot.

The best CPU upgrade it will support is a Celeron PPGA
(non-coppermine) 533MHz, with a slotket adapter.  You might need a
newer BIOS revison to support the Celeron, available here:
http://www.abios.com/atend-bios.html

It might be more cost-effective to replace the whole motherbaord too,
with something supporting a 1GHz Celeron.  These socket 370
motherboards can be found relatively cheap these days, and unlike a
new Athlon or P4 processor and motherboard, you likely wouldn't need a
new power supply.
