Hi,

I am planning to buy a DVD drive and wondering if I would need a separate
MPEG decoder card.

My PC spec is PIII 500, 256MB RAM, SB Live Player 1024 and ATI Xpert Rage
128 (16MB - no TV out).

According to the ATI spec, this card supports MPEG decoding and am wondering
whether I need to spend the extra cash and buy a separate decoder card. I
am planning to get the Creative DVD drive. If I get a MPEG decoder (Dxr3?),
does that also render my ATI card obsolete?

Thanks,
Manula.
