My thoughts: I was playing around trying to hook up a voodoo3 and a banshee card in the same system. I had a two monitor setup for a while, and it worked fine for simple desktop applications, but it wouldn't work with any games. I think windows could only load up one instance of glide drivers at the same time, and since the two cards had different chipsets, it didn't work. I would imagine that it works the same way for sound cards - you could only load up one set of drivers. And even though windows (98) specifically supports 2 monitors, I doubt they built in two-soundcard support into it. Maybe it would work if the two cards were the same? Andrzej.
