I have the AsusA7V133 w/promise controller and a SBLive! card. I had to
dedicate an IRQ to the slot my SBLive! card is in for it to work properly.
It's an easy fix, but most people don't know how to do it.
P.S. You may not get it right the 1st time. Start with the lowest IRQ
available for assignment (usually IRQ3) if it works, great, if not move to
the next IRQ. I have 5 PCI slots -
1 - empty (shared w/AGP)
2 - empty (shared w/Promise controller)
3 - SBLive! card (shared w/on-board audio, but my board doesn't have)
4 - 10/100 NIC (shared w/slot 5 and USB controller - don't use USB)
5 - empty (shared w/slot 4 and USB)
