SoundBlaster causing network crash

I installed a SoundBlaster Live MP# 5.1 card last night. Since the
installation my Intel Internet Sharing Software will not work. I am running
Intel's AnyPoint USB Wireless Network. I've been running the network for
several months with no problem. The last month under Windows Me, still no
problems. The network itself is working fine, just the internet sharing
software is messed up. The client cannot find the server. Another unusual
byproduct of the soundcard installation seems to be new hardware that is
recognized. There is now a NDIS 1394 Net Adapter listed in the system
properties device manager. Although I do have a firewire card, it is not
connected to a network device. The "new hardware" is installed and I am
instructed to restart the computer. I get no notification that new hardware
has been found, or a search for drivers, just the restart notification after
startup completes. I have tried removing the new hardware but upon restart
it reappears. I have tried disabling the new hardware but I still have the
internet sharing problem.

I can only presume that is some component of the soundcard installation. I
will pull the card and try again this weekend but, in the meantime, I
wondered if anyone had any ideas.

I am running an Asus P3v4x motherboard with Intel P3 600 processor and 256
MB Ram.
