Hi,
I was hoping for a possible hardware solution. I suppose this HP 710
(Apollo 700 series) is not the typical PC.

I know that there is a Lithum? cell on the motherboard of the HP 710. I
suppose it keeps the RTC running and the CMOS memory going. Does anyone
know if it is safe to physically, remove the battery and hopefully reset
the RTC?

I am concerned if the defaults in the CMOS is sufficient for the machine
to recovere from the truma?

Thanks in advance.
