Hello,

I have a problem with my 10 GB IBM hard-drive IBM DTTA 351010. I used
this hard-drive to store data, so I connected it behind my boot hard-
drive as a primary slave. Although I have a very new 400 MHZ computer
the IBM hard-drive was not recognized (but that might be a problem of
my computer). So I used the IBM program OnTrack to connect the drive.
One week ago my primary master hard-drive crashed down, so I had to
format it. But when I connected the IBM drive, I has not been
recognized. First I wanted to install OnTrack again, but when the
program told my, that it would format my IBM drive I aborted this
function.
So I organized a clean IBM DTTA 351010 and installed it with OnTrack in
my computer (that worked without problems). Then I disconnected the
clean hard-drive and connected my data-drive. But that did not work.
Have you any idea, how I can resucue my data? Do you think, that I have
a chance to rescue the data, when I connect the drive to a computer
which normally recognizes the IBM 351010 DTTA, or is there no chance,
because OnTrack has stored all the important data to access the hard-
drive on my (now formatted) C-drive?

Please help (and mail) me.

Thanx
Tim
