I suppose the noise cam from the loudspeaker in you computer case, and the
computer failed to boot. This sometimes happens, it looks like a crash during
start-up. Quite often the computer boots without problem when you reset it, and
as far as I can imagine there is nothing to worry about it if it just happens
once or twice. I think it has nothing to do with your memory chips.
