Nope, not if its formatted NTFS. Win98 SE will just ignore that.

No real point. Just scrub all the data off it using clearhdd from
http://www.samsungelectronics.com/hdd/support/downloads/utilities_03.html
and fdisk and format the drive and carry on regardless if you
dont need the data off that drive.
