Hi all, Sun has swept under the carpet a high profile bug record with 624 votes. Sun can count on a sizeable community of Java developers that are in the business of writing professional looking client applications. The vote count of 624 for <A href="http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4244515.html">Bug 4244515</A> in the Java Developer Connection demonstrates this. However, having reached that goal with years of hard work, it now appears that Sun is not interested in supporting the professionalism of developed products. Otherwise how can one explain how this bug with all the votes of desparate developers got swept under the carpet? What do you think about DOS consoles popping up on top of Java client applications? Do you think that this problem cannot be solved by Sun? Have I overlooked any related developments? Bernard
