We're a bit off topic here, but that's not terribly unusual. Off topic because
a specific compiler is involved (and "mouse", "DOS" and "colors"). The Borland news
groups CAN be unresponsive when their older compilers are involved. You should
have a main() for DOS programs, and WinMain() for GUI programs. Maybe that answers
why you can't set the target to DOS. Which pre-compiled libraries are you referring
to? You are changing background and text colors in what kind of window? For that
matter, which OS is running Turbo C++ 4.5, which is pretty old BTW. I can't help
with DJPP, but you could have been more specific about the configuration problems.
