Well I used to like Turbo Pascal 7 & Delphi, but since using Microsoft Visual C++ (can I hear booing in the background? ;) ) I must say it wipes the floor with those packages, for the speed of code it generates. Which is usually the most important thing, is it not? And the ActiveX controls always work properly ;) So what if the compiler's slow - it's C++ for christ's sake! :) I still program in Pascal and Assembler tho', and have sent plenty of stuff to the SWAG (www.gdsoft.com/swag) including the world's best lawnmower simulator.
