function question in c, please help (advanced c)

Here is my dilemma...
I am writing a set of wrapper functions for intelligent memory
management in c.
My library will be a layer of abstraction between the programmer and
memory allocation.
We all have had problems with memory leaks and this is a solution.
My memory manager will give the program memory when it needs it and
keeps track of certain things.
It will also allow for memory pools and memory caching.

The problem I am having is that I would like to know which user function
called my memory routines.
This will help in tracking down memory leaks, it will actually tell you
where there are possible leaks in your code.
I need to find a way to track and get information about the function
that invokes my memory manager functions.

If anybody can help that would be great.
