Need help finishing an OLE/ActiveX Component in C++

Good afternoon!

I am a long time user of computers, but a novice when it comes to both
ActiveX and C++. This has not discouraged my current employer from giving
me an assignment that requires the use of both. I'm hoping that I can find
some "experts", perhaps on this list who might either have solutions or be
able to recommend some good reference materials.

Without getting too specifically into the program, I would like to know
how to do all of the following:

 (1) When dropping the ActiveX component into MicroSoft Office (Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.), the
component should take on the "Wrapping Style" which could be described as
"In Front Of". In other words, the component is to be overlayed, not
embedded.

  A. It seems to me that there should be an easy way to set a property for
the component if one knows the correct variable name, but I can't seem to
find that information.

  B. If there is no such property as can be set within the ActiveX
component, then it should be possible when one drops or displays the
component to execute a procedure which will set the property within the
Office document.

 (2) Currently, if the document is saved with multiple instances of the
ActiveX component, when the document is reopened, only the first instance is
displayed. The other is either hidden or lost. How can I allow (or
display) multiple instances of the component?

 (3) This should be easy -- if you know how to do it, which I don't. Limit
the user's options in Office to either move or delete the component.

  A. This should mostly be possible with a custom OnRightClick (or some sort
of equivalent) procedure.

  B. There may be backdoors for editing the properties through the Office
menus or toolbars; these must also be blocked.

Thanks in advance for any help, whether it be code or links to good sites
for this sort of information.

-Brian Kessler.
