And then what?  I had already set the autoredraw to true in the
properties of the picturebox.  But, on your suggestion, I also put it
into the coding.  The code now reads:

picture1.autoredraw = true
clipboard.clear
Clipboard.SetData picture1

I get an error because I did not supply an object (or something).  So
what is this object I am supposed to supply?  The only thing in the
picturebox are the lines I have drawn and wish to place in another
application.  Is there some way to declare the contents of the
picturebox to be an object?
