Hello all, I am running Bsdi 4.1. i am trying to get my server to respond to pings from two diffrent networks. ie MCI and ATT, I have put two seperate network cards in this machine. local pings work because of my local routing tables. When I ping from outside it reaches one nic, but not the other. I then relized I would have to run a routing protocal (rip). does any one have any ideas how to multihome my bsdi box ? Now we can't afford a ASN number right now or else i would use the router to route. I have tried running routed -q and not installed the default gateway. it detects the 216 network as primary and sends all the traffic out that pipe. So i have to come up with a solution. and in a hurry, the reason I want to run the box off of both t1's is because we are switching bandwidth providers, and i need time to switch dns over.
