Hi all,

I run redhat linux kernel 2.2 with squid 2.1

Where can I find a program to determine the amount of data downloaded
externally on a per user basis

Try looking here. It is an excelent program and will do everything you
need as long as you are using modems or console connections. I don't
believe it will work with terminal servers such as a portmaster.
