Hello, Since I'm rather new with IP Masquerading, maybe somebody out there can help me out... I need to have a list of port numbers, besides the standard 21/22/23/25/80/110 ones for for example realaudio, etc. Somewhere in my fogged brain I remember to have seen one.... Can somebody help me out? Also I am looking for a list of ip_masq modules that can be inserted in the 2.x series of kernels... Anyone cares to help me out? Thanx.. Rene Camies

However, I am not going to. I AM however going to recommend you stick to 1 (one) relevant newsgroup, and post there in the appropriate language, before making requests. Another suggestion: Try a search engine, like AltaVista or Google, and enter appropriate terms. Or try DejaNews. Actually SEARCH for it. If you then can't find it, well, it never hurts to ask. In an (one) appropriate newsgroup. Seriously, what does this have to do with security? And what is ipsec? (IP security? See first question) Have a day. -- Frank van Schie fvs01@sep.et.tudelft.nl

I'd have to agree that this is a few too many newsgroups, but only when I have a VERY specific question can I post to just one newsgroup. There are usually about 2, sometimes three that I post to, and that's PERFECTLY FINE, as long as the subject is related. Posting to .misc newsgroups should be reserved for things that you can't fit into any other category. And this answer could have been more easily found by searching, but here's my answer. Check in your /etc directory. Greg -- It's pronounced "sexy" not "scuzzy"! Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
