Hi! I found some links to RedHat 6.0 ISO-image, certainly... But it very slow links! And I want found HTTP link (download via HTTP, not from FTP-site), because I can't resume download throught firewall & ftp protocol... Via HTTP - all OK! If you know about about http:// links to RH 6.0 - please, help me... Or, may be, you can put your ISO image to WWW-server (not FTP) for 1 day? Pls... Thank you for your help, Regards, Serge

thats because light-brigade.mit.edu is a ftp server. and btw, that server does support resume so you should be able to continue broken downloads. just make sure you use a decent ftp program like cuteFTP. ftp://light-brigade.mit.edu/pub/redhat-6.0/ -Mayhem > Hi! > > Thanks for answer! I assume you're asking about the RedHat mirrors ... www.redhat.com/mirrors.html second question ... You can't really consider any of the ISO's legit. You're putting you're trust in whoever made to the mirror tree. Solution: make you're own with mkisofs "Nilesh M." wrote: > how do you guys find these mirrors? is there somewhere you can search all > linux mirror sites? > > btw: who makes the .ISO file?
