MY HARDWARE: G3 Macintosh, external FireWire Que! Fire 12x/10x/32x burner (Teac mechanism) MY SOFTWARE: Roxio Toast 5 Titanium 5.1.2 Dantz Retrospect Express 4.3C ---------------------------- I'm wondering what CD-RW media would be best to use in my drive for things like data backup, and where I could find a good bargain on them. Any ideas? It would most likely be a mail-order purchase. I was thinking about getting brand-name (Memorex? Imation?) 10x RW media in a small 10-pack or 25-spindle to start with. I had a problem when I burned some files onto some Memorex 4x 700 MB CD-RWs, but that was with an earlier version of Toast 5 Titanium at "max" 4x speed. Also: Retrospect Express 4.3C backup software didn't seem to work with the Teac mechainsm. (I've tried burning some data CD-R's and audio CD-R's with no problem at about 6x-8x on Memorex 16x 700MB CD-R media.)
