My Primax Colorado 9600 USB works well enough with a Pentium 233MHz processor and 64Mb RAM. This running Windows98 Second Edition. The scanner works using IrfanView I_view32, (free download) or Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home edition 3.0 as well as the Primax software supplied. The PrimaPAGE 98 OCR works reasonably well, but there are probably better software programmes if you are prepared to pay for them. -- Tony Ooh, Gromit - it's Real Wensleydale! [Wallace]
