hello newsgroup;

I just bought a Matrox G400 dualhead (32mg ram) and a toshiba SD- M1402
DVD-drive...

In W2k some movies does not play smoothly (AMerican Pie) some play allright
(Fugitive)...
In w98 all of them plays allright (but not perfect) !

my cpu is a P2 333mhz, and I got 256mb ram ?

Is it hardware ? software ? or simple my operating System ???

did u switch on DMA for your DVD drive? if not try it (control panel ->
system ->cd-rom ->properties
