A small utility to adjust gamma/brightness quickly?

I've been looking for a certain utility for some time... but does it exist at all? What I need is a small Win9x program that would sit in the sys tray, and would only do one thing - allow for quick gamma/brightness settings, and, ideally, also for video overlay settings. Sure, the Nvidia tray icon can be enabled, but it's not a very good solution, since it only brings up screen properties, so entering gamma/overlay settings takes five more clicks, which can be a pain in the, uh, AGP slot if you have to adjust this every few minutes (for different video clips) - I'd like something that would be able to switch to *those* settings immediately, or change them on its own. Just a little tool to do only that, or not much more - not a multi combine that eats resources and reset screen positions, like Powerstrip does :)

Yeah, that 5 megs of RAM Powerstrip is using really takes a big bite out of my system resources! :-) Brock "Wolf" <wolf@buriedlie.com> wrote in message news:3718a3a4.0110210947.24cc0536@posting.google.com... HTH :O)

I think if you check you'll find PowerStrip uses less memory and less resources than RT, NVmax or the GTU - and unlike the others it runs in an idle priority thread. If you're not convinced, check it out with something like the excellent TaskInfo2000.
