I have a Canon BJC-7000 with a weird problem. Printer works fine on my ATX Celeron 400 System but not on my AT Celeron 400 (Symptom - as if parallel cable is disconnected, ie "error writing to LPT1, printer is not responding") Both systems use the same CMOS settings - PORT 378 / IRQ7, ECP/EPP, ECP MODE USE DMA 3, EPP MODE SELECT EPP1.7 (I have tried other CMOS options without success) Both machines have identical settings in Win95 device manager with no conflicts and are using the latest Canon driver Problem machine has a VIA chipset, but works ok if I connect a HP Deskjet or anything other than the BJC-7000 Any help would be appreciated Kelvin -- Please remove the word NOSPAM from my E-mail address before replying.
