Hi,
I noticed that no IDL file is created in a COM project in Visual Studio
7 (VS 2003). All IDL constructs go into .h and .cpp files and when the
program is compiled an IDL is generated on the fly and compiled and that
creates the .TLB file. I want to know how you can define any UDT (such as
struct, enum, etc.) in the COM library. In earlier versions the syntax was:
#include "UDT.h" /* pretend that UDT.h defines struct _tagUDT. */
typedef [uuid(7C2997C6-C28D-479a-AF1C-27E96E9FD0CC)] struct _tagUDT UDT;
I tried many possible ways to do this in VS 2003 but failed to see the
defined struct in .TLB.
Any pointer is welcome.
Thanks,
satya
