We are a business consulting firm that wants to offer to our clients a
program that will provide refererence material and some simple
database/mailmerge capabilities.

We have all of the content, we need a capable programmer, knowledgeable in
Visual Basic and or C++ to build the program to our needs.

The program will be used to create customized business forms, search a few
large text files, manage some business info in a database format, etc.
Basically it needs to be a compiled program with a splash screen that offers
about 6 options. Then it needs to do the tasks outlined above.

We are looking for a competent visual basic/C++ programmer, not for someone
needing a school project. I know it could be done in many different
languages, but I believe the expedient language is Visual Basic. I would
entertain other options.

I have a general spec sheet that I can send you to further explain the goal
