I've had some private Email from the individual concerned.

I want to believe that he wants to put up a respectable shop. And
I can also hope that he'll do everything to make sure he has a clean
system with no reputation destroying elements on it.

I can also advise every shareware author to get some way like PGP
or checksums to give prospective users a way of verifying that
your software has not been tampered with. It can be a wise thing
to do with any site independant of reputation. This will protect
you and the client.

I did not intent to start/create a virtual black list with the
original poster at the top of it. I just wanted to make everybody
aware of the reputation it could have had in the past which will
hopefully change in the future. I whish this site a successfull and
"uneventfull" future. 

In a way this may be considered unfair because
the admin of a system is being held responsible for the action of
some of the people using his system - but that's how it works -
the higher trees catch all the wind :( It's up to the admin to do
something about the people using his/her system.
