Update to FirstOffice 1.1 from Baltic Business Software
Release 2/28/96

Our excellent accounting software FirstOffice is now even better!

To get version 1.1. of FirstOffice, look at our web page
<http://www.kagi.com/authors/baltic/> or the file
first-office-installer-11.hqx on an FTP site near you. By popular demand,
the installer is now available in BinHex (.hqx) format, which all browsers
and FTP programs should know how to decode.

Update highlights

� To simplify installation, we now ship all three versions using one
installer (1.7 MB),
� tax Code has been added to the Customer card to simplify sales tax
handling,
� the automatic roundoff is changed to exact notation,
� the reports have been updated to include sales tax accounts,
� the Inventory calculation has been corrected and
� some language errors have been corrected.

How to update from FirstOffice 1.0

1) Make a text backup of your database using the old version of
FirstOffice. Click on the exports icon in the main window, select text
backup and enter a name for your backup file.

2) Open the new version of FirstOffice. When prompted select "create" to
make a new database.

3) Select Import in the File menu and open your saved text backup.

You are now running your database on FirstOffice 1.1!
