Hi

Er.. I need a piece (or suite) of freeware (literally) which will enable
me to interrogate a PC (from DOS, say) and display/append to a file,
data about the system:-

eg Processor type (Pentium recogntion is a must), Clock speed, Disk
Info, Memory Info, Peripherals/Ports etc etc.

Anyone spent any time doing this and can share (or do we just all go to
Norton or some equivalent package!!).

I'm afraid that this really NEEDS to be freeware...
